Point101 is a London-based large format digital printers, providing gallery-quality giclee printing, mounting and framing.

After having great success with their original website (which we created in 2005), they commissioned us to help progress their company with a new website and brand identity that would accommodate new products, a greater degree of print information and an improved upload system.

We designed a meaningful, authentic identity that ignored industry cliches in order to be long-lasting and support the personality of Point101.

The logo itself is a unique wordmark that uses spacing, colour and cut-away letters to suggest craft, quality and openness.

The colourful blocks that make up the logo could then be broken apart and used as a graphic device in eclectic, playful compositions across their collateral. It is imbued with freedom and experimentation, and a fitting allegory for that which is captivating about all forms of art.

Along with the website, for artists in collaboration with Point101 we also designed and built a user friendly system for their buyers to select artwork, choose between paper stocks and frames, and check the size in-situ before ordering online.
